AUTHOR'S BIO
Mohammad B. (aka Taher) Atayi, Ph.D., is a retired professor of information systems. He has a wide academic and industry background. Before joining academia, he worked for seven years in a large-scale steel conglomerate – from feasibility study to construction to production. Meanwhile, received training in the USSR as “Chief Engineer in the Ministry of Montage and special construction”. Subsequently, he studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) graduate program in Engineering Systems, which include Engineering Economics, Business Processes, and Management Information System. He worked as a UCLA research engineer on NASA’s “Future Aviation Fuels” project for four years.
His thirty-four years of academic work included teaching Management Information System at California State University, Loas Angeles (CSULA). Additionally, he taught as a visiting professor at the University of Southern California, California State University, Northridge, and Zayed University, United Arab Emirates. Retired as full Professor of CSULA and continuing educational institution research.
